What we collect

RoutenPuls collects only data you provide directly:

• Your email address and password, solely for authentication.
• The origin and destination addresses you enter for routes, to fetch travel time data from the Google Maps API on your behalf.
• Traffic data (travel durations) fetched automatically according to your configured schedules.
• Weather data for your route destinations, fetched from the Open-Meteo API.

What we do not collect

• No third-party analytics tools, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.
• No cookies beyond the minimum required for authentication (session cookie).
• No personal location data beyond the addresses you enter.
• No data is sold or shared with third parties.

Third-party services

When using map or traffic features, requests are sent to the Google Maps Platform and Open-Meteo. These services have their own privacy policies. Your origin and destination addresses are transmitted to these services to retrieve map and weather data.

Data storage

All data is stored locally in a SQLite database on the server running this application. No cloud storage or external database services are used.

Data deletion

You can delete individual routes and route groups at any time within the application. Deleting a route group permanently removes all associated routes and traffic history. To request full account deletion, contact the administrator of this instance.
